WORK STUDIOS
Founded in August 2008 as Methinks headquarters, Project 165 existed to support the social/professional/creative development of dedicated, open-minded individuals who wanted to excel and contribute to a positive, fun, respectful work environment. This creative hub comprised a multi-use storefront “gallery” site, common area(s) and work studios.
Studio tenants worked in illustration, painting, writing, sound, textiles, installation, performance and other areas of art and design. Individual studio spaces varied in size and were located in rooms shared by 2, 3 or 4 people.
Casual monthly studio gatherings (such as low-key potluck meetings), regular group outings (like gallery hopping) and other collective activities contributed to a positive studio culture, while in-house open studio events provided studio tenants with exciting opportunities for exposure and networking.
